Lux lost it over Kevin Haynes the garbage man. She would wake up at five in the morning and hang out casually on the front steps like it wasn't completely obvious. She wrote his name in marker on all of her bras and under ware and mom found them and bleached out all of the Kevins. Lux was crying on her bed all day.
I hope I never act like that. I'm still mad at Dominic. He hasn't looked at me in two weeks. I hope he gets a huge zit on his forehead and I hope it gets infected. I also hope all of his hair falls out!

Today we went out on the boat. It was pretty cold. We saw a couple of whales. Lux leaned over and stroked a whale. I didn't think they would stink so much. It's the kelp in their baleens rotting.

Mary chipped her front tooth on the monkey bars acting like an idiot. She made a big scene and had to go get her tooth capped. It looks normal I guess.

Mom made cream corn for dinner. It's the worst. It looks like bile. I don't know why she makes things like this. We all hate it. When mom brought it out Lux make noises like she was throwing up. Mom yelled at her for acting so immature. Mary didnt even touch hers. She said eating things like that would just be bad for her skin. I dont know where she gets that but you know how she is.

It seems like everday more and more trees die. Everyday the Parks Deparment marks more trees. They hang condemmed signs on them. The signs always say this tree has been diagnosed with Dutch Elm disease and talks about how it will be removed. Yesterday they showed up at a house on our street. They cut all of the branches of the tree just leaving a bare trunk. They say that the reason they are cutting down the trees is to save the ones that have not been infected with the disease yet. But if it keeps up at this rate there will be no more trees to save. Soon all of the beauty in our town will be gone. GONE ARE ALL THE TREES OF beauty and life. But now you can see life is dying.

The Brazilian turbot frog was added to the endangered species list today.Thats the third animal added this year.
